The Nile River is the longest river in the world. It was the lifeblood of Africa. The neighbor to the north of Nubia was called Egypt. The Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the world. It stretches across the northern part of Africa. Hieroglyphics are a writing to show what happened through those years. People in Ancient Africa prospered.
