The title of the story is “Lets Save Money.”
1. Kyle would put $3.00 of his money in the bank each week.
2. He would earn $5.00 and he would donate $1.00 to the food bank.
3. Then Kyle would have $2.00 for himself.

#1. Kyle reveive five dollars a week. He put two dollars in his savings account. He donated one dollar to the food bank at the grocery store. He kept two dollars for himself.
#2. I thought about all the things I would love to buy and how long it would take me to save for them.
#3. They are each money used in the United States.
My mom got a role of quarters from the bank.
My brother gave me a nickle for a piece of candy.
Did you know that there are ten dimes in a dollar.
#4. After five year there would be $6381.41 in the college fund. After ten years there would be $8144.47 in the college fund.

1. First her brother told her to start saving her money.
Next she started saving $20 a week of her money.
Last after saving all the money she could she had saved enough money to buy someone a gift.
2.I saw that if you save your money that someday you can be rich .
3.My mom made a cake an the icing was very rich.
4.I would use the tools on pages 7 and 4 to tell me how much money that i have and also how much money i have to spend.

The name of the story is “Making Sense of Dollars and Cents”
1.First list all of your income that you receive in one week. Next list the things you spend money on these are expenses. Then add up your expenses for the week.
2.Doing chores at home to earn $5.00 so that I can have money for my expenses and for savings.
3.The soil in the plant is very rich.
4.I would use the charts to help me plan my budget.

The story about saving money is a good story to read. I like the way Kyle saved money and gave some to the food bank. I would do the same thing.

Story Read: “If You Made a Million”
by David M. Schwartz
1. What was the story about?
The story was how to earn money while useing a bank.
2.What did you learn from the story?
I learned how to save money, and how to count money also.
3. How will the story help you wih money in the future?
First I will save my money to have more to spend.

Let’s Save Money
Reread page 12. Use a graphic oraganizer like this to explain Kyle’s allowance and what he does with it.
1. Kyle receives an allowance of five dollars a week.
2. Then he puts two of his dollars in his saving account.
3. He also donates one dollar to help feed other people.
4. Kyle keeps two dollars to spend for himself.
What did you see in your mind as you read page 8?
I saw in my mind all nice things that I could buy with all the that I saved.
What do the word nickles,dimes,and quarters have in common? Use the three words in three complete sentences.
The things taht they have in common are you can spend all three of them they all have value.
1. I lost my nickle at the park.
2.The value of a dime is ten cents.
3. Four quarters make a dollar.

The title of the story I read is Dollars and Cents.
2. I imagined myself with two envelopes. I thought about having a garage sale and maybe charging my parent to do things around the house.
3. The frosting on the cake was rich and creamy.
4. The caculator is used to add numbers. I would use it to add my money and subtract my expenses.
